My favorite book is POP; POP is
about a young high school football star, Josh, who thinks he knows everything
about football. While playing football with his friends in the park, the ball
lands at the feet of an old, yet muscular old man. He whips the ball back at
Josh, faster than anything he’s ever seen. The man’s name is Charlie. Charlie
is a retired NFL linebacker who played football for the chargers in the 80’s.
But there’s something wrong with Charlie, he has Altztimers. This was caused by
too many hits to the head. However Charlie still remembers his playing days
very well. Josh spends a lot of time with Charlie, learning things he didn’t
know existed about football, and how it should be played. Josh’s lessons
learned from Charlie not only made him a good player, but an even better
teammate.

The book I am currently reading is Goosham
Grange, David is a problem child. His dad is a millionare banker in London and
hopes for David to become one as well. David however, does not want to be a
banker and refuses to listen to the authorities at his private school his
parents make him go to. David’s incompetence has sent his father over the edge.
He is now sending him to Goosham
Grange, a private school with unorthodox methods of teaching. On the bus to
Goosham Grange David see’s two other kids going to Goosham Grange, for the same
reasons as David. They vow to never surrender to the teachers at Goosham Grange.
Nice job Stephen - keep it up!
